The Harvard Flying Corps will meet, for the purpose of perfecting its organization, for the first time at its new headquarters, 1280 Massachusetts avenue, Monday evening at 7 o'clock. One of the chief purposes of the meeting will be to arrange convenient hours for the lectures which will be given soon. Three different subjects will be treated in the series of lectures, each by an expert. These are, the construction of aeroplanes and the scientific theory of aeronautics, the explanation of aeroplane engines of the various brands, and lastly a discussion of all the aspects of service flying. This latter subject will be taken up by Mr. Frazier Curtis '98, Commanding Officer of the Corps. He will tell of service flying as he found it in France.
Professor Josiah Royce Alford Professor of Natural Religion, Moral Philosophy and Civil Polity in the University, has accepted the first honorary membership to the Flying Corps. A number of graduates have also signified a desire to join. A board of honorary members will probably be formed later to act as an advisory committee.
