At a meeting last evening the Cercle Francais unanimously elected the following officers for 1916-17: Honorary president, Charles Hall Grandgent '83, of Cambridge; president, Hardinge Scholle '18, of New York, N. Y.; vice-president, Arthur Kilgore McComb '18; secretary, Robert Dudley Longyear '18, of Brookline; treasurer, Archer Latrobe Carroll '18, of New York, N. Y. The following were elected councillors: Professor E. L. Raiche, of the French Department; Albert Wright Rockwood 2L., of West Medford; Arthur Graham Aldis '17, of Lake Forest, Ill.

The Cercle Francais will give a tea dance this afternoon in honor of the members of the Radcliffe Cercle and the cast of the Theatre Francais d'Amerique at the Colonial Club at 4 o'clock.
