Candidates from the class of 1918 for the position of second assistant manager of the University Musical Clubs should report in Matthews 5 this evening at 7 o'clock, at which time the work of the competition will be outlined. This will consist largely of planning trips, and arranging for concerts, and will afford a valuable opportunity to acquire a good business training.
Moreover, the work is not hard and does not require much time, while the friendships and associations which are formed in the University as well as outside should prove of benefit, both now and later.
The competition will last about 12 weeks, eight weeks this spring, and four next fall. The man who is selected for the position will accompany the clubs on the southern trip being planned for the coming Christmas recess. No previous experience of any kind is necessary in order to compete.
