The Honorable Samuel J. Elder, president of the Boston Bar Association, will speak on "The League to Enforce Peace" at the dinner of the Diplomatic Club in the north Tower Room of Memorial Hall this evening at 6.30 o'clock. Mr. Elder was one of the senior counsel for the United States before The Hague Tribunal in the North Atlantic Fisheries Arbitration with Great Britain in 1910. He is a former member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives and a delegate to the Republican National Convention in Chicago in 1908. He is an authority on copyright subjects.
