Metcalf to Head Flying Corps

H. H. Metcalf '17, of Westborough, has been appointed temporary captain of the University Flying Corps by Mr. Frazier Curtis '98, late of the Escadrille Americaine, Deuxieme Groupe d'Aviation, and founder of the Corps. Seventy-five men have signed up in the blue-book at Leavitt & Peirce's and of these many have had experience driving automobiles and motor-cycles. A meeting of all who have signed will be held Friday evening at a place to be announced later, at which plans for organization will be discussed.
