A. D. HILL TO SPEAK ON LAW

Arthur Dehon Hill '94L., lecturer in the Law School, will speak on "The Law as a Profession" in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock. This will be the first of the vocational lectures which the Union is to hold throughout the year. These lectures are under the supervision of the Deans of the Law, Medical, and Business Schools, and will be generally devoted to those three fields of study.

The lecture this evening is open to all members of the University, and is especially held for those undergraduates who are considering entering the Law School. The lecture, however, is not to be at all technical, so it will be as interesting to the layman as to the student.

On next Wednesday the evening will be devoted to certain aspects of the Business School. Howard Elliott '81, President of the New York, New Haven & Hartford, will speak directly on the work of the Business School; Thomas William Lamont '92, President of the Associated Harvard Clubs, on the need for trained men in business; and H. B. Gill '13 on the Business School from a graduate's point of view. It is hoped that Mr. T. N. Vail, President of the Bell Telephone Company, and Mr. K. Liggett can also be present at the meeting, but that has not been definitely learned. On March 30 the lecture will be for the benefit of the prospective students of medicine.
