The election of a 1916 football captain to fill the place of J. A. Gilman '17, will be held at the Varsity Club this afternoon at 1.30 o'clock. There are four men eligible for the captaincy: C. A. Coolidge '17, of Boston, a substitute and for the past two years; H. H. Dadmun '17, of Arlington, a guard who transferred from Tufts and is now a member of the present Junior class; J. C. Harris '17, of Brookline, a substitute center; and R. Harte '17, of Philadelphia, Pa., regular end on last fall's eleven.

Of the 24 "H" men who are eligible to vote, only 22 will take part in the election, as L. Curtis '16 is abroad, and J. A. Gilman '17 will not cast a ballot.
