New Haven, Conn., Feb. 8. -- S. A. Pumpelly, Yale 1917, started the Junior Prom. tonight at 9.35, when he led off the grand march with Miss Anne Wood. The Armory was decorated in black and white with the university crew shell hanging above the centre of the hall. Supper and intermission came at 1 o'clock, after the twelfth dance. The lighting of several of the dances by spotlights from the balconies produced a novel effect. The festivities of Prom. week ended at 5 o'clock when the end of the dance order was reached.
