1919 HOCKEY VS. EXETER TODAY

Freshman Seven Handicapped by Lack of Ice.--Marshall to Play.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman hockey team will meet the Exeter seven on the rink at the Stadium this afternoon at 3 o'clock, in the third game on their schedule. In the two games played so far, the 1919 team has emerged the winner, having defeated Milton Academy 5 to 0, and Andover 4 to 1.

Due to the lack of ice, the Freshman team has been unable to practice regularly, but have had occasional scrimmages with the University seven at the Arena, in which their showing has been generally creditable. The work of Kissel in the forward line, and of Marshall on the defence, as well as that of Bishop at goal, has been consistently steady during the season. Marshall, however, has just returned to the line-up after an illness which has prevented his playing so far this season. Platt, who will start in the forward line this afternoon, has just been shifted to that position from the defence.

The Freshman team will probably line up as follows: Bishop, g.; Marshall, c.p.; White, p.; Platt, l.w.; Merrill, l.c.; Kissel, r.c.; Gross, r.w.
