A USE FOR OLD TEXT-BOOKS.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Tomorrow the text-book loan library of Phillips Brooks House will make a collection of old books, to be used by students who cannot afford to buy all the volumes they need. There is hardly a man in the University who has not some books which in days past have caused him trouble, but which might well do some other man good. He can at once rid himself of the reminders of bygone distress and contribute to the education of coming generations by enlarging the Brooks House collection. He can, it is true, wait until the end of the year, and obtain a few pennies for his wares from the book-dealers, but the obvious loss to the University of such a course will be far greater than the gain to himself.
