A custom of long standing is revived in the series of vesper services held this year in Appleton Chapel. They were discontinued several years ago, mainly be-cause of the small number of undergraduates who attended. An effort has been made recently to re-establish the custom. Eminent ministers have been invited to conduct the services and appropriate musical programs have been arranged for the University Choir. This afternoon Bishop Williams, of Michigan, will speak and Dr. Davison will conduct special music by the choir. As only two more services are to be given this year, every one should take advantage of the opportunities to restore them to a permanent position among the institutions of the University.
