HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
Practice for the University nine yesterday consisted of the regular routine drill, which will be followed until the fielding candidates are called out. As a larger battery squad is needed, another opportunity will be given to members of the classes of 1917 and 1918 to report to Coach Mitchell at the Cage this afternoon.
Only twelve answered the first call for Freshman battery candidates, as against twenty-two last year. Although this showing is numerically poor, several of the candidates have brilliant "prep" school reputation.
Those who have reported so far are: Pitchers, W. B. Felton, F. C. Fishback, O. L. Flynn, G. D. Leighton, G. W. Mayo, J. A. Patterson, and P. E. Stevenson; catchers, R. Auspach, R. H. Bond, C. L. Fullen, R. Little, and O. M. Watkins.
