The University fencing team will meet the strong Springfield Y. M. C. A. team in the Hemenway Gymnasium this evening at 8 o'clock. The team has been so weakened by members leaving for the European war that it has won but one out of the three meets it has fenced.

Captain W. H. Russell '18 showed that he is back in form again by winning the tournament of the Amateur Fencers' League of America at the Sword Club last Tuesday night. Captain Russell has been sick, but he is fully recovered now and is fencing in fine form. In the last few days' practice E. P. Hamilton '18 and G. H. Code '18 have been doing good work. These three men will constitute the team. There will also be an exhibition match between Professor Leslaby and F. S. Damon '14.
