Captain W. H. Russell '18 of the University fencing team won the tournament of the Amateur. Fencers' League of America, held Monday at the Sword Club, after a three-handed tie for first honors. Russell was given the decision on points, as he had one less touch recorded against him than against Dr. S. W. Allen and O. D. MacLauglin, both of the Sword Club. Each of the three won four bouts and lost one.
