Tickets, at $1 each, for the Hasty Pudding tea may be obtained at the door of the clubhouse on the afternoon of the Junior dance, Friday. Tickets will be sold then only and at no other place. The Hasty Pudding Club will open its whole lower floor to all who attend; not even members of the club will be allowed on the second floor. The entrance will be by the side door only.
The tea will start at 8.30 and end at 6 o'clock. Mrs. George E. Leighton will pour. The primary object of this tea is to aid in acquainting guests of the class before the start of the Dance in the evening, and it is hoped that much of the introducing at the Union will thereby be done away with. There will be dancing and tea throughout the afternoon. To make the affair best serve its purpose all Juniors should make a special effort to attend.
Dance Order Applications Due.
Today is the last day for Juniors to apply for dance orders and admission tickets to the Union. Between the hours of 5 and 6 o'clock this afternoon the invitation committee will hold its last office hours in the Secretary's Room of the Union for the distribution of dance orders and tickets. Tickets for "stags" must also be obtained at this time.
Arrangements for taxicab service should be made with the agent of the Franklin Motor Cabs, Inc., at the Hotel Somerset, Back Bay 946. A twenty per cent. discount will be obtainable, each man settling with his driver.
Twenty Numbers on Dance Order.
The committee has arranged the following program of dance music for the Junior Dance: (1) One step, "Setting the Pace"; (2) Fox Trot, "Chin-Chin, from Hip, Hip, Hooray"; (3) one step, "Molly Dear, It's You I'm After"; (4) waltz, "Only Girl Waltzes"; (5) Fox Trot, "Underneath the Stars"; (6) one step, "America, I Love You"; (7) Fox Trot, "Georgia Grind"; (8) waltz, "Sweet Maidens"; (9) one step, "The Junior Prom."; (10) Fox Trot, "Ragging the Scale"; (11) one step, "In Blinky, Winky, Chinky Chinatown"; (12) waltz, "Muriel Waltzes"; (13) Fox Trot, "I'm Simply Crazy Over You"; (14) one step, "When I Leave the World Behind"; (15) Fox Trot, "The Magic Melody"; (16) waltz, "Waltz of the Season"; (17) one step, "The Battle Cry of Peace"; (18) Fox Trot, "Midnight Cake Walk Ball"; (19) one step, "Ladder of Roses"; (20) waltz, "Dorothy Waltzes." The music will be furnished by Lowe's orchestra. Supper will come after the tenth dance.
Each number on the program will be divided into a five-minute dance, during which no cutting in will be permitted, and a three-minute encore in which cutting in will be allowed. After each dance the ladies are to be taken to their respective boxes.
A list of boxes, a chart of their location, and their occupants will be published in tomorrow's CRIMSON.
