CRIMSON CALLS FOR CANDIDATES

News, Business, and Editorial Competitions Start Tomorrow.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Competitions for news, business, and editorial candidates for the CRIMSON will begin tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock, when all men desiring to make the board should report at the CRIMSON office on Plympton street. The news competition will be the last chance for members of the class of 1918, and the first for 1919 men. Four or five more Sophomores may be taken on to the news board and as many Freshmen as prove their ability.

The business competition is open only to 1918. The enlarged duties of the business management, due to the many additional demands this year, have brought about the need of enlarging the business staff, so that a third man will be taken onto that end of the paper this spring. This is the first time that a spring business competition has ever been held.

The editorial competition is open only to Juniors, and one or two men will be picked to complete the complement of editorial writers from 1917.
