The University swimming team was defeated 33 to 21 by Worcester Academy at Worcester on Saturday. Two tank records were established, one in the relay, which Worcester won in 1 minute 48 2-5 seconds, and one in the plunge, which was won by Shuttleworth of Worcester with a distance of 66 feet. M. Blanchard '18 took first place in the diving, the feature of the event. H. Wentworth '17 also placed well for the University, winning both the 100-yard and 220-yard swims.

Relay.--Won by Worcester (Kaichen, Heywood, Corcoran, Shaw); Harvard (Machado, J. W. D. Seymour '17, H. Wentworth '17, Captain B. M. Fullerton '16). Time, 1 minute 48 2-5 seconds.
Diving.--Won by M. Blanchard '18; second, Green (Worcester); third, Shaw (Worcester).
50-yard dash.--Won by Corcoran (Worcester); second, Kaichen (Worcester); third, J. W. D. Seymour '17. Time, 28 1-5 seconds.
220-yard swim.--Won by H. Wentworth '17; second, B. M. Fullerton '16; third, Marsh (Worcester). Time, 3 minutes 1 second.
Plunge.--Won by Shuttleworth (Worcester), 66 ft.; second, Lightfoot (Worcester), 56 ft. 6 in.; third, W. L. Munro '16, 43 ft.
100-yard swim.--Won by H. Wentworth '17; second, Heywood (Worcester); third, Kilby (Worcester). Time, 1 minute 4 seconds.
