As a result of a conference between the Yale faculty and the student council, the following changes have been adopted in marking cuts for chapel attendance, which is compulsory. These will go into effect this term.
1. No distinction will be made between the two Sunday services in the number of absences allowed.
2. Each student is granted an allowance of thirty marks a term. Absence from morning prayers will count one mark. Absence from either the ten o'clock or the eleven o'clock Sunday service will count three marks. No student may be absent from Sunday morning service more than five times a term.
3. Week-day morning prayers will be omitted during the examination period at the end of each term, but the Sunday morning service will be held on the Sundays falling within such examination periods and absence from these services will count as one of the five allowed absences of the term.
