The Summer School of Arts and Sciences will open a week later than usual next summer, beginning on Monday, July 10, and closing on Saturday, August 19. Registration will be permitted on the Friday and Saturday preceding the opening. The reason for this late date is that the National Education Association and several other such bodies which attract large numbers of teachers who would naturally attend summer schools meet in New York the week following July 3.
