After a short shooting practice in which the forwards showed unusual early season form, teams A and D of the hockey squad were sent into a practice game in which each scored two goals. W. W. Rice '18 secured one for team D in the first 30 seconds of play but the puck was around team D's goal most of the time. The passing and team-play of the regulars was much better than the previous day. G. A. Percy '18 scored both goals for team A while E. B. Condon '16 shot team D's final goal. Captain Morgan tried several of his shots from the centre of the rink.

Teams B and C were matched in a second game in which there was no score. Although team B had the advantage it did not have enough team-play to be able to score.

The Boston Hockey Club came on the ice at 6 o'clock and lost an eight-minute scrimmage to team B. W. O. P. Morgan '18's goal was the only score. The Club team consists of several former University players, including former Captain W. H. Claflin '15, P. Smart '14 and A. F. Doty '16.
