Dr. Paul Withington '09 has been retained as coach of the Wisconsin football team next fall. He has been appointed to the faculty of the university and beginning in July, 1917, will have supervision over both teaching and athletic work. His position is that of professor of physical education and instructor in surgery in the medical school.

In addition to coaching the football squad, he will be in charge of the physical condition of the men, and during the second half year will assume his professional duties.
