Majority of Yale Graduates Entering Industrial Careers

A surprising trend away from the professions and toward industrial and commercial pursuits is shown in the new Yale directory of living graduates. The recent compilation shows a gain of 99 per cent, in the number of graduates engaged in industrial and commercial pursuits in the 12 years ending with 1915; while the gain in the number of Yale alumni in the professions for the same period was only 24 per cent.
