Dean Briggs and Dr. R. I. Lee '02 will represent the University at the 11th annual convention of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, which will be held at the Hotel Astor, New York, on Thursday, December 28. The program for the convention this year includes a paper on "The Making and Remaking of Fighting Men," by Professor R. Tait, of the University of Pennsylvania, an account of his experiences in the British army. Major Palmer E. Pierce, of the United States Army, will talk on "College Athletics as Related to National Preparedness." Dean Briggs, president of the Association, will open the convention with an address at the morning session. Dr. R. I. Lee '02, professor of hygiene, will speak at the afternoon session on "The Life of Harvard Oarsmen."
In the evening a discussion on proselyting will be held by the headmasters of some of the leading preparatory schools.
