The fact that the Musical Clubs were forced at the last minute to abandon their already completed plans for an extensive trip during the Christmas vacation is most unfortunate both for the Clubs themselves and for the alumni in those localities which the schedule included. Conditions over which there was no control made it unwise to give concerts in certain cities, and the loss of these concerts and the impossibility of making other arrangements compelled the Clubs to abandon their plans. Possibly some of the places included in the Christmas itinerary can be visited in April. In any case, there should be no misunderstanding or ill-feeling on the part of anyone.
