The Boston Arena has opened its rink and candidates for the University hockey team will practice there this afternoon from 5 to 7 o'clock. This will be the first opportunity the men have had to get on the ice and to start using their sticks. The locker room will not open until regular practice starts on Monday, and supplies will not be given out until then, but all the candidates will begin getting in condition today in order to be ready for a good start next week.
