The Freshman soccer team will play Worcester Academy this afternoon on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock. Although Worcester defeated the 1920 players earlier in the season, the team has been making rapid strides during the past week and will be materially aided by the presence of Captain G. Tilton, who was unable to play in the first game with the Academy team. P. C. Washburn and R. A. Dennison are also playing good games in their respective positions.
University vs. Princeton Saturday.
The University association football team will hold their last stiff practice today before the first league game with Princeton on Friday afternoon at Soldiers Field.
Coach Burgess is well satisfied with the condition of the team. So far the season has been very successful, the University having won all four of its games played against such strong teams as the Springfield Training School, which defeated Yale 9 to 0, and the fast Andover team. Princeton is expected to present a strong line-up but has had trouble this season in forming a good defence. For the University Captain O. G. Daly '17, E. C. Lucas '19 and J. W. Feeney '17 have done exceptionally good work in the post games and much is expected of them. J. B. Myers '19, the regular left half-back, has recovered from an early season injury and will be in the line-up.
The Princeton team will arrive here Friday noon and will be the guests of the Varsity Club during their visit.
