Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
All candidates for the University wrestling team will report for the first practice in Hemenway Gymnasium at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The try-out is open to members of all classes in the University, and if enough men report a second and Freshman teams will be formed.
There is a good opportunity for new men to make the team this year, as only three of last year's regulars are left. They are W. B. Snow '18, captain and most promising man in the heavyweight class; S. Davidson '17, the champion of the University in the 125-pound class, and R. B. Miller '18, who last year represented the team in the 135-pound class. These men form a strong nucleus around which to build a team, and with the football men that are expected to report, there should be no trouble turning out a strong team. S. Burnham '19, captain of last year's Freshman team, will be among those available after the football season is over.
Novice Meet in December.
A novice meet will be held next month, which will be open to all members of the College who have not been on the University wrestling team. This tournament will be run in classes according to weight so that everyone will have an opportunity to prove his ability. Cups will be awarded to the winners in the different classes.
