All three sections of the Eighth Massachusetts Regiment arrived in the Somerville yards of the Boston and Maine Railroad last night at 7 o'clock, where they will remain until time for the men to detrain for the parade today at 9 o'clock. The parade will start from the North Station to Canal street to Washington, to School, to Beacon, to Charles streets. There the three Cambridge companies and the machine gun company will leave the regiment for the Cambridge armory, while the other companies will continue through Charles street to the North Station to entrain for their respective homes.
The following graduates and undergraduates of the University were enlisted in the machine gun company of the Eighth Regiment: W. G. Renwick '12, captain; R. T. Merrill '06, first lieutenant; H. C. Blanchard '09, second lieutenant; O. P. Johnson '18, first sergeant; N. B. Grigg '18, sergeant; H. G. Reynolds '17, top sergeant; E. C. Wilkins '16, corporal; D. B. Wilson '16.
