The International Polity Club will give an informal reception to Professor Emily Greene Balch, of Wellesley, in the parlor of Phillips Brooks House this evening at 8 o'clock. Miss Balch, who was the American delegate to the "Conference for Continuous Mediation" at Stockholm, has recently conferred with President Wilson upon the advisability of calling a similar conference of neutral nations for the discussion of their mutual interest which the war has jeopardized and for the presentation of a proposal aiming toward a permanent peace.

The newly formed Radcliffe International Polity Club will be the guests of the University Polity Club.
