HOCKEY CANDIDATES TO MEET AT VARSITY CLUB ON TUESDAY

Coach A. Winsor '02, of the University hockey team, will outline the plans for the coming hockey season at the first meeting for all candidates for the University hockey team, to be held at the Varsity Club next Tuesday evening at 7.30 o'clock. Captain J. E. P. Morgan '17 will also address the meeting, and D Channing Frothingham '02, will speak on the health and condition of the players.

The usual preliminary practice behind Hemenway Gymnasium has been abandoned this year, and practice for the team will probably start about December 1, when the Arena is scheduled to open for the winter season.

The competition for the second assistant manager of the hockey team will start on Tuesday, the day of the meeting All candidates for this position from the Class of 1919 should report on that day to R. D. Hunneman '17, Thayer 37, at 1. 30 o'clock. Since the Freshman team will not begin practice until the University squad gets well started, the competition for the managership of the Fresh man team will not begin until later.
