NEW COACHING SCHEME TRIED

Dramatic Club's Production in Hands of Undergraduate Committee.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Dramatic Club production is being coached this year entirely by undergraduates. This work is in the hands of a coaching committee consisting of J. W. D. Seymour '17, E. P. Goodnow '17 and W. H. Meeker '17. Besides acting as chief of the coaching staff, Seymour is also taking a leading part in the production.

The adoption of this plan of undergraduate coaching makes the production unique in many respects. The play, the acting, the managing and the producing are all the work of past or present members of the University, and no professional assistance whatever is made use of. The scheme was initiated by the club last spring, when N. Clarke '16 and J. W. D. Seymour '17 coached the actors. Its success has probably made it a permanent feature of the club's productions.
