Players Cheered by 2,000 Undergraduates Led by Band.
NEW HAVEN, CONN., NOV. 16, 1916.--In the final practice today before the Princeton game on Saturday the Yale football eleven was given no scrimmage. A half-hour was devoted to signal practice behind closed gates for the first part of the afternoon, and then the gates were thrown open and 2,000 undergraduates led by a band entered the Bowl to cheer the team.
The eleven lined up in a light scrimmage against the third team, which was followed by some kicking practice. Legore, Braden and Neville starred. A short time was then devoted to forward passing, in which the regulars were very successful.
