FIRST WHITING CONCERT TONIGHT

Albert Spalding and Alwin Schroeder to Assist in Recital.

Mr. Arthur Whiting will give the first of his series of expositions of chamber music for 1916-17 in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building this evening at 8.15 o'clock. These recitals are open only to members of the University. No charge will be made for admission to this and the succeeding concerts of the series which will be held on December 14, January 25, March 1 and March 15.

Mr. Albert Spalding, violinist, and Mr. Alwin Schroeder, violoncellist, will assist Mr. Whiting this evening in the presentation of the following program: Sonata in C-minor, Op. 30 Violin and pianoforte.  Beethoves Suite in G-major, Violoncello solo.  Bach Trio in B-major, Op. 8 (revised edition)  Brahms Violin, violoncello, pianoforte.
