Socialist and Polity Clubs Hold Joint Meeting Today

The University Socialist and International Polity Clubs will hold a joint meeting in the Trophy Room of the Union this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. Senator LaFontaine of Belgium, noted as a Socialist leader and statesman, will speak on "The Relation of Internal to External Preparedness." This will be the first of a series of lectures which will take upon more detail the various phases of internal preparedness from different points of view. The policy of the Socialist Club this winter will be to have several open meetings with prominent speakers, among whom will be Frederick C. Howe, commissioner of immigration.
