Matches on Jarvis Field Courts Should Prove Interesting.

The annual fall singles tennis tournament will continue this afternoon on Jarvis Field. Courts will be furnished free, but contestants must furnish their own balls. In case a contestant fails to show up within five minutes after the match is scheduled, he will lose by default.

Entires for the doubles tournament will close tonight at 6 o'clock. Sign up at Leavitt & Peirce's.

Following are the results of the fourth round matches played yesterday: G. W. Helm '20 defeated T. B. Scott '18, 6-4, 6-3; H. G. M. Kelleher '18 defeated M. G. S. Rao 2G, 6-4, 6-1; P. E. Stevenson '19 defeated F. Demarest '19, 6-1, 6-2; H. R. Guild '17 defeated O. C. Nash '17, 6-0, 6-3; W. Rand 1G defeated H. R. Guild '17 6-1, 6-3; P. B. Boyden '18 defeated R. C. Rand '19, 6-1, 6-2; R. Kennedy '17 defeated L. E. Green '18, 6-3, 6-3; J. V. Austin '18 defeated R. G. Richards 1G, 7-5, 6-2.

Following are the matches scheduled for today:

At 2 o'clock: P. B. Boyden '18 vs. W. Rand 1G.

At 2.45 o'clock: S. P. Speer 3L vs. C. de Zaldo 1L, winner to play M. D. Miller '18 at 3.45.

At 3.45 o'clock: S. C. Wu uC vs. H. G. M. Kelleher '18; P. E. Stevenson '19 vs. E. B. Benedict '18; J. V. Austin '18 vs. E. C. Johnson '20.
