C. J. North '17 has been officially appointed coach of the 1920 cross-country team, and takes up his duties at once. The Freshman harriers will meet Providence Tech on October '21, and Andover and Arlington High later in the season, if present negotiations are successful.
Four runners from the University track and cross-country squads will compete in the Brockton Fair Athletic Carnival this afternoon.
H. R. Bechtel '17, R. H. Davison '17 and G. A. King '18 will run in a three mile handicap race, while F. T. Donahue '18 is expected to compete in the half mile event.
