JUNIORS FINANCES WELL UP

The following report of the financial status of the Class of 1918 for the year 1915-16 has been submitted by A. F. MacDougall '18, secretary-treasurer.

At the beginning of the year a balance of $442.99 was on hand from the Freshman Class fund. From this the sun-dial presented to the University by the class was paid for, leaving $237.99. The annual class collection yielded $1,129.93. The 1918 Red Book Committee handed in $300 over and above expenses. This sum was deposited as a fund in trust for the 1918 Senior Album.

In order to insure a large attendance at the class banquet, the Executive and Dinner Committees decided to lower the price of the dinner tickets to $1. The sale of these tickets brought in $336.60, to which $331.10 was added to cover the cost of the banquet.

After all expenses had been met, it was found possible to set aside in trust $700 for the 1918 Senior Class treasury, leaving a balance of $107.06 to meet any possible expense before the Junior Collection should be made.
