CREWS TOOK SECOND WORKOUT

Dormitory Eights Progressing, But Still Not Enough Candidates.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The four University crews took their second practice pull of the season yesterday afternoon. Coaches Haines and R. F. Herrick '90 accompanied the eight in the launch "Pup." The boats all went down the stream to Cottage Farm Bridge. More men are urged to report for tubbing practice to Coach Haines who will be at the boathouse every morning.

The three first dormitory crews are showing up fairly well, considering the early season. The entire squad is being coached by a staff-consisting of J. Manning, A. Bean '11, B. Harwood '16 and H. L. F. Kreger '16. The lower crews which are now rowing in relays of four will be doubled up into eights the first of next week.

The present size of the squads is good, but more men are still wanted. No previous rowing experience is required. The fall rowing is of great advantage to those whoexpect to compete for positions in the boat this spring and every Freshman who can report this autumn should do so this afternoon.
