STUDENT COUNCIL MEETS TONIGHT

Election of Officers and Important Business at First Meeting.

The Student Council will hold its first meeting of the year in the Trophy Room of the Union tonight at 7 o'clock. The officers and committees for the present year will be elected and some important business will be transacted.

The following men make up the Council, in addition to the representatives elected by the classes on Tuesday: the presidents of the Senior, Junior and Sophomore classes; the captains and managers of the five major sport teams; the chief executive officers of the Advocate, CRIMSON, Illustrated, Lampoon and Monthly; three representatives from the Phi Beta Kappa Society; the president of the Phillips Brooks House Association; the chairman of (the committee on organizations; the chairman of the committee on Military Affairs the) president of the Musical Clubs Association, and the vice-president of the Union.
