A committee of graduates comprising A. L. Devens '02, B. H. Hayes '98, D. T. Hood '14 and R. S. Potter '12 has issued a circular asking members of the Harvard Club to subscribe to a diner to be given for the University baseball team. The circular reads as follows.

"The members of the club are invited to subscribe to a diner to the baseball team of 1916 at the club house on Thursday, November 2, at 7 o'clock. G. E. Abbot '17, captain of the 1917 team; Fred Mitchell, coach; B. Wendell, Jr., '02 and one or two others prominent in Harvard baseball will be among the speakers. Gold baseball trophies will be presented to the men who played on the 1916 team in recognition of their achievements.
