VALUABLE EXPERIENCE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The editorial and news competitions start tonight. These competitions give men who are interested in newspaper work a practical training of great value to them while in College and one which often serves them to advantage in later life.

Juniors who are taking composition courses will find in editorial writing a wide field for practice. Not only do candidates gain practice in writing clear English, but they form a habit of keeping informed about College happenings and the current events of the outside world.

The valuable experience gained by candidates more than repays for the actual work required in the competitions and anyone who thinks he is interested in journalism is urged to come out for either the news or editorial competition.
