The first open meeting of the Chess Club will be held in the Territorial Room of the Union tonight at 7 o'clock. All members of the University, including Freshmen, are eligible for the team with certain restrictions for the intercollegiate tournament.
A feature of the evening will be the presence of a prominent local chess player, who will play all comers simultaneously. Cigarettes and refreshments will be served. Seven members of last year's team are back this year.
