FRITZ KREISLER IN SANDERS

This evening at 8 o'clock the Boston Symphony Orchestra will give a concert at Sanders Theatre. Mr. Fritz Kreisler, the world's foremost violinist, will be the soloist for the evening. This is his second season after his return from the trenches with the Austrian Army, where he was wounded and afterwards honorably dismissed from service. From these experiences he derived the material for his book, "Six Weeks in the Trenches." Mr. Kreister will probably give two or three concerts this season at Symphony Hall. The following program has been arranged:

1. Beethoven, Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, "Eroica," opus 55.

2. Wagner, "A Faust Overture."

3. Schelling, Concerto for violin and orchrestra. (Fritz Kreisler)

4. Brahms, "Academic Festival," overture.

This is the first of a series of concerts which the Boston Symphony Orchestra will give at Sanders Theatre throughout the year. The concerts will all be given on Thursday evenings, the dates being October 19, November 9, December 7, January 11, February 1, February 22, March 22, and April 26. Tickets may be bought at George H. Kent's University Bookstore, Harvard square. The price of tickets for the series is $7 each, tickets for single concerts are $1 each, and may be obtained at Kent's Bookstore.
