Harvard Club Seven Won From Crescents 6 to 2

The Harvard Club hockey team opened its season auspiciously, at the Arena last night, by defeating the Crescent A. C., 6 to 2. The playing of both teams was below the average, but the Boston seven displayed much better hockey than the visitors. Phillips, with three goals to his credit, was clearly the star of the contest, though Cutler, who went in at the last minute in place of Clifford, gave a good account of himself. For the Crescents Conway excelled, making both their tallies.
