PRESIDENTIAL FORUM TONIGHT

WILL DISCUSS REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES IN UNION AT 8.15 O'CLOCK.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Members of the Union, the Speakers' club, and the University Debating Council will meet in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8.15 o'clock for the second University Forum of the year. The subject for discussion, which will take the place of the usual formal debate, is the relative qualifications of candidates for the Republican presidential nomination.

Each speaker will be allowed five minutes, or more at the discretion of those present. The aim of the Forum is to determine the most logical choice of a candidate among the nationally prominent statesmen under consideration for the office of chief executive. For this reason a vote will be taken to decide the result of the discussion. Those who have to leave early may give their votes to the tellers who will be stationed at the door.

Some of the men to be considered in the discussion this evening are Professor William H. Taft, Colonel Theodore Roosevelt '80, former Vice-President Charles W. Fairbanks, Senator J. W. Weeks, Senator Theodore E. Burton, and Justice Charles E. Hughes.
