If a sufficient number of entries are received, the Union will hold, during January, tournaments in chess, checkers and pool for its members. The pool tournament will be handicap; the others will be scratch. Suitable prizes will be awarded in each event.
Entries may be made at the desk of the Union up to 10 o'clock Friday evening and play will start next week.
