Graduates Donate Cup For Interdormitory Hockey Games

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Several graduates of the University have subscribed $100 for a beautiful silver cup to be awarded annually to the team winning the Freshman interdormitory hockey series. It is planned to follow the custom of the Henley trophy in inscribing on the cup every year the name of each member of the winning team.

As soon as the Freshman squad is cut the interdormitory series will be arranged. A meeting of candidates will be held in each dormitory, and a coach will be provided for each seven. Regular practice will be held on the Stadium rinks twice a week, and the schedule will probably be concluded by the middle of February.

Practice for the Freshman squad will begin on the Stadium rinks this afternoon, under Coach P. H. Smart '14.

Most of the squad took a run yesterday afternoon, while the rest were sent in to the Arena to skate. The number will probably be cut before the end of the week.
