The 16-pound shot competition in the Cage yesterday was won by A. T. Lyman '16 from scratch with a put of 40 feet 7 1/2 inches. J. W. Cummings '18 was second with a distance of 40 feet 7 inches (handicap, 9 feet).
V. E. Hull '19 won the 12-pound shot with a distance of 40 feet 8 inhces (handicap, 3 feet), and V. N. H. Bates '19 was second from scratch with 39 feet 4 1/2 inches. V. E. Hull '19 also won the 35-pound weight competition with a throw of 44 feet 10 inches (handicap, 14 feet). W. Arnold '19 placed second in this event with a distance of 43 feet 7 inches (handicap, 16 feet).
