TEN MEN ON TRAINING TABLE

RELAY RUNNERS PICKED BY COACH DONOVAN TO REPORT AT VARSITY CLUB.

The training table for the University relay teams will start at the Varsity Club on Monday morning, and the following men should report: A. Biddle '16, W. J. Bingham '16, R. D. Campbell '17, J. Coggeshall '18, F. T. Donahue '18, J. O. Johnstone '16, H. W. Minot '17, T. R. Pennypacker '16, E. A. Teschner '17, and W. Willcox, Jr. '17.

Time trials were held yesterday for the short distance team, each man running separately. Captain Bingham ran two laps in good time and later went 12 laps with the long distance men. Coach Donovan for a time gave the 390-yard team and the Freshmen practice in tagging starters in relay races.

Davis Won Both Jumps.

The high-jump competition yesterday was won by H. Davis '18 (handicap 11 inches) with a jump of 6 feet 3 1/2 inches. W. E. Sullivan '18 (handicap, 12 inches) was second with 5 feet 8 1/2 inches, and for third there was a triple tie between J. O. Johnstone '16 (scratch), A. R. Frey '19 (handicap, 7 inches), and E. L. Florance '19 (handicap, 11 inches) at the height of 5 feet 7 1/2 inches.

First place in the broad-jump also went to H. Davis '18 (handicap, 1 foot 4 inches) with a jump of 21 feet. G. G. Haydock '16 (handicap, 1 foot) was second with 20 feet 7 inches, and J. H. Spitz '17 (handicap, 1 foot 10 inches) was third with 19 feet 10 inches.

Henry Corwin Flower, Jr. '19, of Kansas City, Mo., has been appointed captain of the Freshman relay team.
