The St. Nicholas Hockey Club team, present champion of the Amateur Hockey League, will play the B. A. A. seven for the first time in the Arena this evening at 8.15 o'clock. Raymond Skilton, the defensive player of the B. A. A. septet, will be matched against "Hobson" Baker, former Princeton captain, who is rated as the best player ever developed in America. Against the Crescent A. C. in New York last Saturday Skilton bruised his head, and also played through a rough game at the Arena Wednesday night. The game this evening will figure in the amateur hockey league championship series, in which the B. A. A. and St. Nicholars were the greatest rivals last year. The B. A. A. now leads in the Boston Hockey League series. The Arena management will dispose of the seats for tonight's game to the first applicants, and no reservations will be made.
